Operations Assistant

Oyster.com is looking for an Operations Assistant in New York City to join our team. As Operations Assistant, you will work closely with our Photo Operations team, Photo Edit team, and Video team. You will help gather, organize and upload imagery into our content management system (CMS). You will also assist with scheduling and coordinate travel for our photographers. This job requires extreme attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and independently.

  • Expert with Microsoft Office/Google Apps
  • Knowledge of photography, video production, and file systems a plus

 
What You’ll Do

  • Work with our Imagery department across multiple disciplines
  • Ensure that our photos are properly organized, according to our specs
  • Upload all photos into our CMS for storage, keep detailed records as you work
  • Assist the Photo Operations team with scheduling, invoicing, and expense reports
  • Coordinate travel and plan itineraries for photographers – booking air, car, and hotel travel
  • Assist our Photo Edit team with prepping imagery to go live
  • Assist our Video team with pre-production research and post-production file organization
  • Work approximately 35-40 hours a week
  • Work from our office in Manhattan
